This book is about the joy, fear and angst of a teens first love. I am not a teenager but I loved this book it explores the theme of first love in a modern context of teens being exposed to pressure to achieve at school, have their future planned and making mistakes. It was well written, funny and a pleasure to read. One of the things I liked most about this book is that it doesnt romanticise young love, it explores the pitfalls that teens face of liking someone but not being sure if they like you back,, worried about their crush's past ie whomthey were with and how many. In saying that it also, shows the nice side of falling in love, kisses that make you melt and feeling asntho nothing matters but you and him even in a crowed party
