"This is the story of a barber in the French village of Amour-sur-Belle. He has wanted to be a barber since childhood, but suddenly his clients begin visiting a barber in another town to get a more mod" by sharen (see profile) 08/28/08

We all thought the book was okay, but rather weird. We especially didn’t like the food references. They were kind of gross. And the repetition of phrases got to be annoying. So much so that some of us skipped sections of the book when we could see a repetitive part coming. Some of the characters were amusing. Mary put it right when she said, “I thought the book was hilarious, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.”
