I did not enjoy this book at all. I found the long list of characters to be hard to follow and after a while I just didn’t care to figure out how they fit into the little group. I was quite upset about the portrayal of marriage and faith in this book. Faith of any kind is boiled down to a set of rules that the old inflict on the young and the young perceive as outdated and old fashioned. Many of the characters have been married and divorced multiple times. One character leaves his wife though she’s done nothing wrong. She’s just boring and dull. Although the woman he leaves her for turns out to have lived a past he can’t handle and he quickly tries to come back. It is hard to call this a mystery because the murderer reveals himself pretty quickly into the first chapter. I
