This book does a great job of providing an objective view of Nichiren Buddhism and the Soka Gakkai. It provides interesting angles that allow the reader to form her/his own conclusions. We were all glad we read and discussed it.
This book really opened my eyes to how a religion can truly serve the people instead of people serving a religion. I learned about the conviction and commitment of the Soka Gakkai members to lead all people to happiness through the practice of Nichiren Buddhism. And on top of that, it is an easy read!
