Although most of our club thought the book was okay, we all agreed that we didn't really like it. The writing seemed pedestrian and shallow. We didn't like the main character. Maybe most young people talk and act that way but she was not a likable character. The story had too many unanswered questions. For example, why didn't her husband suspect his sister?
For the most part, we felt like the author was trying to solve some internal conflict of her own. Didn't work.
