We were expecting a light, summer read. The description of the book & the actual story are 180 degrees apart. Very dark, lots of drugs, rough language, and depressing. While it sounds like we hated it, the story actually did take a positive turn at the end, thus the "3" for our rating. Do you ever really know your friends?
