A good story.

Julia Glass writes about Kit, a man who is stuck after being let go from his teaching position. He can\\\'t seem to get motivated to apply for other jobs, write his book or work on the house so his wife \\\"suggests\\\" he go find who his father is. She believes that\\\'s why he\\\'s stuck. The rest of the book is the story of Kit\\\' s family.

Where Ms. Glass shines in when she describes the comings and goings where it lags a bit is when she tries to talk about their motivations. Ultimately my question ended up being do we ever really know someone fully, even when we love them so deeply or passionately.
