I thought the book was written very well. The Author makes you think about your own life on how you would survive without oil. I had a hard time putting this book down for it kept me interested in what was going to happen next.

A wonderfully written novel about what happens in a small town years after industrialized civilization has collapsed and the population has dwindled. We meet the people who have learned how to cope in this rather primitive world and we become part of their lives as they struggle with trying to feed their families and keep their community together. This novel presents an abundance of discussion topics for book clubs.
