I rated this book a three. It was very slow starting but once you got into the story it did hold interest. I think some of the characters could have been brought to life a little more

The book was well written and had profound nuggets in it. However, none of our book club members cared much about the characters in the book. There was a part of the book that was supposed to be a mystery but we found we didn't care.
