A sexy look at getting another chance at love. Dog Days of Summer by PJ Fiala is a fantastic read. I was taken with the characters and especially liked the way family and friends were so important in the plot development. Believable characters, plot development and steamy scenes. What else do you need? This is a book you will keep on your Kindle so you can read it again.

Great read, original and funny. P. J. Fiala has written a wonderful, fun, summer read that I really enjoyed. If you love stories about real people, falling in love and working at it, I know you'll like this book. There’s also some steamy sex scenes in there also, but it’s a heartfelt story about the life of a Veteran.

Written with great sensitivity as well as an incredible amount of insight into human emotions (both male and female), "Dog Days of Summer" is a fantastic read for anyone who is looking for a story involving true-to-life characters in a setting that is rather unconventional. I must admit that any preconceived ideas I may have entertained regarding bikers and the sort of "world" they lived in have now been shattered as the author presents a different kind of biker story for all to enjoy. And in the character of Joci, you have a tender-hearted and brave woman who is able to overcome her own insecurities and fears in order to find true, fulfilling happiness, hopefully one that will last for the rest of her life. I will definitely be on the lookout for other works by this author!

I love that there's a romance novel filled with bikers! The ride outs are great and realistic. I'm just disappointed I've never met a biker as gorgeous as Dog! ;-)

Well written book featuring a lovely romance.

Reading P.J. Fiala’s Dog Days of Summer was a pleasure. I never ridden a bike in my life but the author painted such a vivid picture of the bikers, their close knit group, the dialogue was authentic, the romance was hot and passionate… Gosh, even the names of the characters were on point. And Dog, what a character, and to pair him up with the shy-retiring, Joci was a bold move by the author. The conflict with LuAnn brought it all home for me. Excellent read!

Wow! I love stories about bikers, and this is one of the best I’ve read. It’s a delicious combination of passionate romance, emotion, unforgettable characters, and enough conflict to keep things interesting. Highly recommended!

I was swept off my feet by this story. There is a naughty side to Dog that leaves you spellbound, he is hard and soft all wrapped into one. I loved that Joci is vocal about her feelings and Dog navigates through them like a champ. Wonderful story, anxious for more in this new series.

I got lost into the story and the chemistry between the characters. This is a biker love story that made me feel like I was there with them. This was a total uplift that had me racing through the pages. There are so many realistic dynamics that pulled me into the drama.

This book has a riveting storyline that entertained me all the way through. Watch out for some very warm scenes! What am I saying? They were not warm. They were red hot!!! I really enjoyed the escape that was Dog Days of Summer. So much fun!
