It was just a story written from the perspective of immigrants and their struggles and joys. I like it.

A very moving book about the untold stories of immigrants. I was fortunate to hear the author speak after reading the book, and she was amazing. Her main message is that we should imagine what it is like to be other people, in situations outside of our every day experiences. Highly recommend the book and hearing Cristina Henriquez if possible.
