I found this book to be an easy read and enjoyable to sit down and relax. Wehad a very good club meeting and tried some tasty indian food.

Slow but interesting read, good character development. Cultural insightful.

A good book but I could put it down! Learned much about the culture but I probably would have understood a lot more with more cultural knowledge. But nevertheless, many of the emotions and feelings and choices seemed to be "standard" which was a good thing to know. Darjeeling was a good pick for book club discussion.
