Our book club members felt this book was slow, boring and unbelievable. We chose this book since we enjoyed the authors book Cutting for Stone. It was difficult to have a hearty conversation when there appears to be so little depth to this story. It also left unanswered questions regarding the character David's pervious difficulties and life.

Would suggest as a “must read”
