Paige did justice to this subject matter. Child rape and life on the streets isn't something that is easily talked about and was at times difficult to read. I wanted to keep reading to find out how Allessa was going to get through her situations. She found hope but her past kept coming back to haunt her! I was hoping for a different ending but I see why it did twist the way it did. I highly recommend this book, but understand it is graphic in parts.
