One of the best science-fiction books I have read in a long time. The author has taken the time to build life into some very real, very relatable characters, and weaves you into their lives in a very skilful way. You really feel for them as they are snatched away from earth at the moment of their deaths, and fight for survival on a world far, far away.
Action - suspense - drama - even bitter-sweet romance. It has it all and leaves you wanting more.
