I read this book quickly and enjoyed it, even the startling and horrifying conclusion. However it didn't generate much discussion at our meeting. Well plotted and interesting, very dark, but "Galveston" didn't leave us a whole lot to debate.

...you will enjoy this short novel. I found the beginning a bit slow and confusing, but felt that the plot picked up momentum as is progressed.
