Divided into 100 Bites, this book serves up a tasty and satisfying look at American food with a side of cultural and political history. Fun reading. Just enough depth to wet the appetite for more.
A History Channel type tour of two centuries of American foods. Some fun tidbits and food for thought. Majority of our group enjoyed it.
This was a very interesting book, filled with fun facts and great talking points. Our club always gets together over a meal and it was fun to use the foods in this book as a starting point for a varied and adventuresome menu...think smoked eel and syllabub!
