The book was a little confusing at first the way it went back and forth to the psychiatrist and patient and then to the story. The characters were very well developed. It was well written and didn't take you down just one direct path. It let you try and put the pieces together yourself. The book did feel a little long to me in places, however, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
