"History of the NYC and medicine side by side. " by gasweetie (see profile) 08/20/17

I loved this book. It follows a family for many generations and thru the growth of New York City. The family is full of surgeons and other medical people thru the ages. Many medical procedures are described and you will see the growth of the city and medicine side by side.
