I really enjoyed STARS OVER SUNSET BOULEVARD because of the warmth of the characters. It wasn't as much about Hollywood, as it was about friends, lives, and choices.

Wonderful story of two women, Violet and Audrey and the friendship they forged. Lively discussion on what each woman did that effected this friendship. Every member of our book club loved this book. We loved how Susan wrote about an object, Scarlett O'Hara's
hat and the switching from past to present.

while it was tedious in some spots, it really is about two girls who become friends and have their ups and downs. I do think there is a LOT to talk about with these two characters. Would have like to see more written about their later life, but maybe that would have ended up being too much. A good read and worth your time.
