"A book about a young girl learning to grow and adapt." by kristy08 (see profile) 10/30/07

This book is an amazing example of the capability to learn and adapt to new ways of life. It shows how just because someone is different they still have a heart and care about similar things as everyone else. This young girl is a representation of almost every young rich girl in the '60s. She wants to grow up so fast that when she looks around her she realizes that everyone has changed and that she is falling behind. When she tries to catch up she just keeps slipping and falling. In the end she realizes that everything changes and there was nothing she could have done to stop it.
