Interesting take on the true story of the disappearance of Judge Crater back in the '30s.
3 women, from very different walks of life, come together in the 1930's. Life was different then, so what they pull off, was pretty amazing. Good descriptions of life in the 30's but just a little hard to follow with the dates. The story takes you back and forth by days, giving you the action that happened, then going back and setting up the steps that were taken. It also went from 1930 into 1969. Still, it was an interesting story and I don't regret reading this book.
Based on fact, well written, very enjoyable...
This was such a good book club choice. It's interesting that this is based on a true unsolved story. This is written from 3 different women's perspectives and a little bit of the story is told, then they back pedal and fill in the story, then you move forward, then go back...and you hit twists and turns along the way. Very plausible theory.
