Very Long Novel, over 700 pages, but wonderfully and engaging spanning over 300 years. I thought It would be boring after awhile but it never became dull. If you are from the Northeast and have been to the city or live near the city of New York it is great historical fiction.
Enjoyed learning about the history of our country, that wasn't as boring as sitting in a classroom. Following the generations, and reading about the forming of New York, and the roles their families played was exceptional.
