I enjoy this book very much but I would not say it is one of his best books. I saw no reason for his sister to dead in the book other then to keep to his usualy someone dlying in the store. I enjoy the desription of the main charcater with his daughter. I wish he was my dad. It is fun romantic read.
Russ is 32 years old and believes his life is perfect, job, wife, house and adoring child. All of that suddenly changes and he must reevaluate his life and make many changes. He must realize what is truly important.
The two main characters were insufferable through the first half of the book.
I like this author but have to say this book did nothing for me. I really would give it a 2.5 and it was almost a DNF. There were no redeeming qualities for either Russ or Vivienne...in fact she seems a bit psychotic to me. And it was drawn out much more than it needed to be. Sorry..not for me.
