The members of our book club that read the book loved the plot and story line. The twists and turns keep the reader turning each page with expectation. Andrew Gross has a way with words and plot line that keeps you guessing. This is definitely an adult read as it contains a lot of strong language. Some in our group could not get past the profanity and stopped before finishing. Those of us that did finish it felt it was one of the best that we have read yet. Mr. Gross was generous enough to send, via email, a list of discussion questions for us. On giving him a summary of our meeting, which he requested, we did mention the use of language and he graciously replied that he had several emails concerning it and was going over the final draft of his new book to lighten it up. It is a great book for book clubs and makes for lively discussions. So if you like an intense mystery, and can tolerate some language, you won't be disappointed with The Dark Tide.
