'Wild Horses," was a different type of mystery that I normally read. But, after a slow start I found it quite interesting. I like the characters, Thomas and Moncrieff being my favorite. That Francis inserted humor, also made it a good read. I liked the insight into film making. I think that any setting could fit with the way and the reasons for the murder. It didn't add much to the mystery.
This book our club rated 3.5 stars. We really enjoyed reading about behind the scenes in the film industry that was in this story. We found it different then then usual Dick Francis Books - all about the horse industry.
