"An unconventional read that will inspire!!!" by cvmom (see profile) 01/17/08

This is the first book that we read in our club. It is a well written account of one woman's love of rowing, nature and adventure. It leaves the reader breathless with its descriptions. She has been to places that most of us will never see. She has experienced the natural world in ways that most of us never will. These folks do not just "camp" or "hike". They encounter bears, rouge waves, and isolation that is frankly dangerous at times. It is a fascinating book that will intrigue anyone who has ever wanted to experience the outdoors.
