I highly recommend this laugh out loud funny book about a crazy, loving, funny relationship between and older Southern Mom and her young daughter. Wonderful warm characters that you will easily love and a tender story that leaves you wanting a sequel!

"We need MORE Polly!" by jbrownfield (see profile) 06/30/17

Funny story of relationship of older Mom and youngest child. Very engaging. The writer has you interested in what is going to happen next and tense at the end...what will happen?!?! Great and easy read with lots of unexpected turns.

"The Book of Polly " by [email protected] (see profile) 07/01/17

Beautifully written, funny and touching story of a young girl and her much older, bigger-than-life mother. The author has written a creative and insightful book about two people who seem very different from one another but find common ground.

Our book club discussed this book for over an hour. Some found it sad, some found it funny, and some just thought it was a great book. Open it, meet Polly & Willow and enjoy their lives!

- The audio book was even better because of the accents
- easy to get into, grabbed you from the start
- some really funny lines

This book was a bittersweet story that kept you guessing. I loved how she developed Polly and Willows (mother-daughter) characters as well as their relationship. I little drama, a little mystery and little humor. Great rainy day read!
