I wanted to like this book more than I did . i loved the touring and cooking part and made me feel like I was back in Italy. but I don't especially care for this authors style of writing.... it felt choppy to me in terms of sentences and found it difficult to follow who she was talking about. She would switch characters in the middle of a chapter.

Frances does another outstanding job of sharing every last detail of Italian life, you literally feel like you are there. I craved wine, cheese, olive oil and long walks in the garden after ready this. Truly an inspiring story that you can transform your life at any age. Must read!

Wonderful book reminding us life doesn't need to be boring just because we reach a certain age. Three women who show courage to step out of comfort zone and find amazing new adventures and talents for their lives
