I listened to it on CD in the car. It might be of help for business Execs in identifying ways to succeed, but it wasn't very gripping.
This was a quick read and written in an interesting way so as to keep me wanting to go back to it. The author offered insight into the kinds of people and situations it takes to make things happen in our society. Worth reading and discussing!
In The Tipping Point, Gladwell helps readers to see how small changes can have a huge impact. These influences can cause major shifts in any and every aspect of one's life and/or business. Being able to look closely at the examples he provides makes it easier for readers to identify potential "shifts" in their own personal and professional life.
While I enjoyed all the the sociological studies presented in the book, I had a hard time seeing the big picture. The author did a good job of connecting his examples and drawing parallels, I just did not quite see how it all really mattered, I sort of felt like he was creating a mountain out of a molehill.
