I barely took a breath until the end of the story and then replayed the plotline over and over in my mind. Too close for comfort, this compelling story is sensitively written and addresses the emotional landscape of an unthinkable tragedy rooted in another. I wanted to rewrite the outcome at every turn to find a light at the end of the tunnel. Heartbreakingly told in a host of glimpses, any one of which you wish you could control to make it all better.

Our book club won this book on Book Movement. While the material is disturbing, it is very well written and thought-provoking which lead to a great discussion and interesting observations. As a whole, our book club liked this selection alot.
