"The authors of The Interrogators give you some insight into what life is like for the inmates and military personnel living and working in the prison camps of Afghanistan. Life is difficult for people" by zizke1 (see profile) 05/04/07

The authors describe the treatment and living conditions of both the prisoners as well as the military interrogators in detail giving the reader a sense of what life must be like in not only an American prison camp but also in a country that most of us know little about.
The challenges of everyday life are highlighted in a way that makes you feel you are there watching the struggle between the side that wants to kill Americans and the side that wants to save them.

The authors bring to life the individual personalities within the cast of characters who standing alone would not be anywhere as powerful and effective as within the established group.

There are boundaries put on the side of the interrogators, they must follow the rules of international law and the challenges they face on a day to day are highlighted. Each and every day their moral beliefs are challenged by the pressure of war It was a constant battle of the minds.
The book was well written. The highlighted stories gave me a greater respect for mental challenges that take place behind the scenes of the battle field.
