This book definately does not follow the movie, or vice versa. The book is a much slower read than we expected for our fabulous book and movie club. It has taken some of us a month to get through half of the book with our busy lives and others dropped it after the first chapter. It is almost worth starting in chapter two or three if you are an action reader. We are moving on to the next book, but those of us who have made it half way through are going to continue to try to finish the book. So, we deem it a good read if you give it the chance to suck you in. Others thought it turned their brains into jell-o. I had my doubts until chapter 4.
