This was our first (and probably last) voyage into Christian fiction. Although the plot may have had possibilities, the writing was terrible. There were so many unbelievable aspects to the story line that it felt like the authors must be living under a rock (presidential candidate less than 10 days before the election hanging out at his home and driving around with one body guard, etc.) The metaphors in the book were terrible as well - we did get a good laugh out of them at our discussion ("the carpet looked and smelled like toasted almonds"). Overall, I don't think anyone really enjoyed the book. We were all disappointed at the poor quality of writing and lack of research.
