Our book club on the whole liked this book. It wasn't one of our favorites, however. The story line is good, and it does lead to a good discussion. Some members felt the characters were too good to be true and their reactions to some of the situations they faced were not realistic. They either loved it or felt it was like reading a screen play.

This book shows how one betrayal followed Conner and threatened his marriage and family life. I loved the ending because it showed how the relationship between Conner and Michele miraculously survived and the family pulled together to make a happy ending for everyone.
