"Elizabeth of York was a very wise woman who was full of wisdom and emotion and love," by lejeunemary (see profile) 03/10/09

I had a hard time in the beginning because I had a hard time keeping up with so many characters. After the first 100 pages I got engrossed in the book and felt more at ease with all the characters. the King's Daughter is a well written book which I enjoyed because it was written in the first person which made it seem more of a true rather than fiction story. Our book club enjoyed talking to the author on the phone and can appreciate all the research she did to make this book believable. Thanks again to Sandra Worth.

"Historical figures from the era are presented in an intriguing and interesting manner that leads to many discussions." by bcomisky (see profile) 03/10/09

Our book club held a phone conference with Sandra Worth. I enjoyed the whole experience. I was a bit apprehensive at the idea, but she impressed me with her depth of knowledge of the historical period and made me want to read all of her books. Her sympathetic treatment of Richard III, Elizabeth of York and other historical figures is readily evident, and she explained how this emerged from her years of research, reading and exploring.
