Just finished this amazing book. Highly recommended. A remarkable (in every sense of the word) story of love, faith and strength. Set in Italy, prior to and during WWII, she is a Jewish violinist full of life and he is a Priest with a golden heart. Love, faith and strength repeat themselves throughout the story; with family, with lovers, with strangers and with God. How did the darkest of times of our world’s history come to be? Little by little. How did life preserver? Little by little. God is quite, but miracles still do happen. I cried, laughed and enjoyed every page.
