With much regret, I right this review of Fifty Shades Freed. Regret that this story is over, its strange that I already miss these characters, its almost like I've lost good friends. I LOVED this story, each and everyone of the three novels. Ana's inner goddess remarks made me laugh, Christians horrid past made me cry and Ana's unconditional love made me sigh. I know sappy, huh?, but it is true. There is kinky erotic sex, romance and mystery, all the components for a great love story.
because I did wish the writing was a little better. And I was ready for some new phrases to come out of Ana and Christian's mouths, but I did love all 3 books. They were hot, hot, hot and had us all addicted. I think we all read them back to back and within a couple of weeks.
I enjoyed the way the book ended and was particularly satisfied with the epilogues.
I cant' believe that I spent so much of my life reading these books. I'm happy I did just so I knew what everyone was fusing about, not that I agree, but I guess worth the read.
too much kinky sex...overdone...Needed to get to the point quicker. glad that someone so scared, lonely, insecure, but so successful could, with the help of others deep love, overcome a lot of these problems and eventually lead a happier, more joyful life. Must be nice to be so wealthy.
He was getting on my nerves being so very, very controlling, always one step in front of Anastasia, who had the desire to be self sufficient.
LOL Kate marries Elliot, Kate brother dating Cristian sister come on!!! But Christian and Ana gets married have a kid, their expecting there second. Was glad to see it end.
I'm sure that I am in the minority in that I didn't love this trilogy, but the last book was especially disappointing. The love story felt contrived, even cheesy. I think the author struggled more with this story line than the graphic, explicit content of the first two books. I was vaguely interested in how it would end, so I plodded through it, but I didn't love it.
Guess what, everyone? Christian and Anastasia have sex! A lot of sex! Is it hot? Yes. Is it sexy? Yes. Is it erotic? Asboultely. Is it enough? Yes. I get it, it's erotica, but come on. How much sex can one couple possibly have? Christian is fit, I get it, but unless he eats the little blue pill like one would eat little mints, there is no physical way he's performing like that. The man is an animal. It has a good story line, there is romance, adventure, and lots of love, but does that counter act all the other stuff? I'd say it does. Good read.
The sexual tension in the beginning of the 1st book hooked me but after awhile the sex became boring and the other plot lines were too poorly written to believe! The second book was even worse and couldn't start the 3rd!
