True story of her life growing up too soon in a world known by few. Heartfelt drama of families ripped apart by a dictatorship controlled society right her in the USA and in this day and age. Couldn't put this book down. Hard to believe this life exists in America. Sure to spark discussion on numerous issues.
It took a really long time and it seemed like sometimes there was too much in details but it really makes you think and opens up views of a way of life that most of us know nothing about.
I found this book fascinating and very insightful into the world of FLDS. Hard to understand/believe that this lifestyle exists in 21st century here in the US. The book is long and jammed with facts and details. We had a great discussion about religion, women's rights and the law from this book.
