Our club gave this book 3 and a half stars. Half the club gave the book a four and half the club gave the book three stars. The book was easy to read and interesting but overall the feeling was that Bev did not become a Bad Girl who makes Good. We felt she did not redeem herself and we all left wondering how her son really turned out. We felt he shouldered too much as a son and a young man. We also felt she expected everyone to accept her as she wished but she was very ahrrd on her parents and others who did not conorm to her partying liestyle.

Writing was good and story was interesting.
