I liked the basic plot, however it did not delve into "alternative medicines" quite as much as the synopsis leads you to believe. The content seemed to be a little disjointed at times, and the story could definitely have been told in a shorter amount of time, which I think would have made the book a little better.

We have 8 in the bookclub. Only one didn't like it. All of us agreed it was not written well and no great novel, however, it sparked a great conversation about getting possible information out or protecting a friendship. It was a good discussion. I liked the book. Thought it was fun.
