I love this book! It is so funny filled with stories of growing up that you would think could only be fiction. You will blow right threw this book, not wanting to put it down.

"FUN, sometimes alarming, hysterical look at a girl in the 90's." by kfoulks (see profile) 06/19/09

I absolutely loved these stories, especially the ones involving her family. I had to rewind (i listened to the author read the book, which is such a welcome treat when listening!) several times to hear things i missed when i was cracking up. The way she talked about her dad, and sex (esp. the red haired man) were HYSTERICAL!!!

Do your members have an open mind and a sense of humor? Chelsea Handler is a brilliant comedian with a knack for captivating her audience. I laughed so hard in a couple places of this book that I cried a bit! The crude sexual references may make it a poor choice for the easily offended. I like the way Chelsea knows who she is and doesn't mind her sexuality. It comes across in her show and in her book. I think I need to read her other book now, she's got a fan!!!

light and easy read; funny at times but obnoxious at other times; those easily offended should not read this book

I laughed out loud the entire time I read it. It's a feel good book. You have to have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor to appreciate it though.

Thought it would be funnier.

"Find her obnoxious on E and now more than ever" by bookmobile (see profile) 05/17/11

I have a sarcastic sense of humor and find dry humor funny. This book is totally unbelievable. The way in which she portrays herself as a child is utterly riduclous. I have a niece and a nephew aged 9...trust me their conversations are not even remotely similar to how she "remembers" hers. Life is too short to read drivel.
