An incredibly funny and well written book that provides tips for surviving the inevitable zombie apocalypse. The first two thirds of the book is an incredibly well written and hilarious page turner. It goes over everything from preparing to actually "living in an undead world". The only problem I have with the book is the last third, which are short snippets of "recorded zombie attacks". As you read through the beginning of the book it makes references to these attacks. Understandably you should be reading about these attacks as the main part of the book makes reference to them, but I found them nowhere near as engaging as the rest of the book. I'm excited to read Brooks next book following this, World War Z, which offers first hand accounts of the zombie apocalypse. I just hope it's more entertaining than the last part of The Zombie Survival Guide.
