The language was a little harsh at times and some parts were a little sexual explicit, but the story was fantastic.

The book follows the life of a young teenage girl named Winter Santiaga. She is the daughter of a high profile drug dealer. The family is destroyed by its belief system and poor choices. Winter is ultimately left alone to figure out her own survival. Although she has some marketable skills, she is focused on the fast money and squatters good opportunities that may have helped her She is focused on material possessions period. There was no moral barometer to her decision making she was completely carnally minded and self-absorbed. The book had a lot of twists and turns that made it interesting and somewhat predictable.
