I loved this book and was so sad when I finished it! Amazing story and beautifully sad but still shows the resilience people have during times of war. Bittersweet in the best way. I can't wait for the movie but I know the book will always be better.

It was an interesting perspective of the war and the role women played. The sacrifices women had to make. I am a fan of Kristin Hannah’s writing style! One of my favorite statements in the book was “wounds heal. Love lasts. We remain.”
