I never read this in high school like most people did. I had heard many things about it so knew a lot of the concept. It was an interesting discussion for the group.

I used to be absolutely in love with this book, but now I feel as if I’ve been praising it too much. Still, I like this book quite a bit, and it was probably the first dystopian novel I ever read and liked. Thanks, Orwell!

Scary stuff with big brother watching and how people can be brainwashed through their vile methods.

As I like the topic and thought provoking ideologies the narrative is slow and the ramblings get heavy and difficult to follow.

It was so difficult to listen to. Depressing from start to finish and probably was a poor choice for me considering the political climate at the moment. However it was thought provoking and I can see why people would consider it a must read
