Everyone in my group seemed to enjoy "One for the Money." Several were already Stephanie Plum fans and read each new novel as soon as it comes out. But when we tried to discuss it, no one had much to say. After the first few minutes we drifted into an animated discussion of last month's book, Rocket Boys, by Homer Hickam.

This is a very quick, beach read, but like watching James Bond movies, you have to suspend reality and logic for a bit.

Good book. It kept attention.

I read this book in 2 days....Then I read the second, then the third....I couldn't stop! I loved every one of them!

This book has no depth to appeal to a book club discussion. There was no intellect or thought provoking questions to ponder.

Silly fun characters. Fine for beach reading.

this novel is affectionally referred to by fans "as where it all began" as it establishes the wonderful characters who reappear in future novels. The book is filled with drama, humor and mystery as it follows the experiences of Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter. It was a real page turner for me.

I enjoyed this book and will be reading the rest of the Stephanie Plumb Books!!
