I read this in 2 days simply because I forced myself to put it down. It was an incredible read and am recommending it to everyone I talk to. I did not figure out the badguy but I usually don't. You must read this book.

Our book club really liked this book- it was intelligently written and the characters were endearing. The author was well able to communicate the relationships between the characters early lives and the present. The book combines mystery with psychology and paranormal phenomena. We also liked learning more about other cultures. It is a compelling read-a page turner as you want to learn how the plot unfolds. All of us gave it a thumbs up, and hope to see more from Preetham Grandhi in the future. We had the fortunated opportunity to have a telephone conversation with Preetham re the book, which really enriched us. This book would also make a great film! Thanks Book Movement and Preetham!

This book is a very quick and easy read. A word of caution as to the first ten pages; rather graphic detail of a violent crime that could be upsetting to some readers. The author does a very could job at establishing the characters and so much so that the reader is left wanting to know more about the characters and their relationships. To an extent there are several sotries within the main plot. Some of our club members enjoyed this and some did not. Our book club enjoyed the telephone conversation with the author.
