Although I was not a great fan of the book, it certainly led to one of our best discussions. Several of us in our book club grew up in small towns and could resonate with the depictions of small town life.

Excellent character study. While the ending left me wanting, I still enjoyed reading this novel.

The book was an easy read. It was written in an interesting way. This would have never been a book that I chose to read on my own, but I am glad to have read it.
