Blink - Th Power of Thinking Without Thinking

To be honest, I was the only member at the meeting who did not read the book. (And I'm the creator of this book club!) I was intimidated by the book's format but I found that I could easily participate in the discussion with those who had read it. All in all I think that the members who read Blink liked it. Our meeting consisted of book discussion more than just chatting which tends to happen at most meetings. So I think the book was thought provoking and a positive read.

We liked this book and found it informative as well as an easy read. The author gives lots of examples to illustrate his point from a variety of arenas--military, economic, social, romantic, etc. We had a great discussion and wondered how this could be applied both to our personal lives and to global policy.
